WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONSULTING AND COACHING?

Like a sports coach, a business coach works to bring out the best of your talents and experiences to build your successes.

We work with you, within the constraints of your abilities and goals, to develop you to your highest potential, both in business and as an individual.  We get to know you, your challenges, and your goals.  We question, support, criticize, applaud, and guide you.

As a coach, we DO NOT do it for you!  We assist you to see the path you must follow to achieve your goals yourself.  But, we are always there to help you overcome your challenges and errors.

In contrast, a consultant engages with you in the business.  As a consultant, we are more “hands on” and involved in the inner needs and workings of the business, often to the point of analysis and implementation.

As your consultant, we DO often do it for you!

1) What experience do you have?  In addition to Bob's CPA practices over some 30 years, he has founded and managed approximately 11 small businesses, covering a broad range from personal services, financial services, real estate investment and development, and product sales.  Some of these were greatly successful, some were not.  Many valuable lessons were learned from each business, which have proven priceless to our clients, such as you.

2) What credentials does Bob have?  Bob has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master’s degree in Taxation, and studies beyond the Master’s primarily in Organizational Behavior, Marketing, and Project Management.  Additionally, he has taught college at both the Undergraduate and Graduate levels, as well as Financial and Operational Management seminars nationwide.
